SAP Project Manager with Ariba Experience

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with expertise in SAP Ariba to lead and oversee the successful delivery of SAP projects, including procurement and supplier collaboration solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP S/4HANA, ECC, Ariba, and integration with various SAP and non-SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end SAP project implementations, including SAP S/4HANA, ECC, and Ariba rollouts and upgrades.
• Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables in alignment with business goals.
• Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocations while ensuring adherence to SAP Activate, Agile, or Waterfall methodologies.
• Oversee SAP Ariba implementations, including Ariba Buying & Invoicing, Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Supplier Risk, and Ariba Network.
• Collaborate with key stakeholders, including business leaders, procurement teams, SAP functional consultants, developers, and external vendors.
• Manage risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies proactively.
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP Ariba and SAP ERP (S/4HANA or ECC), covering procurement processes, contracts, and supplier collaboration.
• Conduct regular status meetings, steering committees, and executive briefings to ensure alignment with project objectives.
• Drive data migration, cutover planning, and post-go-live support activities for SAP Ariba and other SAP modules.
• Ensure compliance with SAP best practices, governance, and security standards.
• Lead change management and user training initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of SAP Ariba solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in SAP project management, with at least 3-5 years in SAP Ariba implementations.
• Proven track record of delivering full life-cycle SAP projects (ECC & S/4HANA), including SAP Ariba solutions.
• Strong understanding of SAP Ariba modules (Procure-to-Pay, Supplier Lifecycle & Performance, Contracts, Spend Analysis, and Sourcing).
• Experience in SAP integrations with Ariba using SAP PI/PO, CIG (Cloud Integration Gateway), or other middleware.
• Strong knowledge of procurement and supply chain processes in SAP and Ariba.
• Expertise in Agile, SAFe, or Activate methodologies for SAP project management.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Ariba certifications are a plus.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
