## Job Description: SAP Activate Project Manager for Large Agriculture Customer in Brazil

### Overview

We are seeking an experienced SAP Activate Project Manager to lead projects related to the implementation of Brazil's tax reform for a large agriculture customer. The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAP project management, particularly in the context of tax reform and compliance. This role involves managing the transition to the new tax model, ensuring compliance with the new regulations, and leveraging SAP solutions to enhance business operations.

### Key Responsibilities

- **Project Management**: Lead SAP Activate projects focused on implementing the new tax model in Brazil, which includes the Contribution on Goods and Services (CBS) and the Tax on Goods and Services (IBS), replacing existing taxes like PIS, Cofins, ICMS, and ISS[1][4].
- **Tax Reform Compliance**: Ensure that all project deliverables comply with the new tax regulations, including the transition from origin to destination basis and the implementation of VAT split payments[1][3].
- **SAP Solution Implementation**: Oversee the implementation of SAP solutions such as SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (SAP DRC) to ensure seamless adaptation to the new tax environment[6].
- **Stakeholder Management**: Coordinate with stakeholders across the organization and external partners to align project goals with business objectives and regulatory requirements.
- **Risk Management**: Identify and mitigate risks associated with the transition to the new tax model, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
- **Training and Support**: Provide training and support to end-users on new SAP systems and processes related to tax compliance.
- **Agribusiness Sector Knowledge**: Understand the specific needs and challenges of the agriculture sector in Brazil, including the impact of tax reform on family farming and agribusiness[2][5].

### Requirements

- **Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- **Experience**: At least 5 years of experience in SAP project management, preferably with experience in tax reform projects.
- **SAP Knowledge**: Strong understanding of SAP Activate methodology and SAP solutions relevant to tax compliance.
- **Tax Reform Knowledge**: Familiarity with Brazil's tax reform, including the new CBS and IBS taxes and their implications for the agriculture sector.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Proven ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.

### Preferred Qualifications

- **Certifications**: SAP Activate certification or similar project management certifications.
- **Language Skills**: Fluency in Portuguese and English.
