We are looking for a Senior OpenText EDI Consultant to support EDI integrations on the OpenText side, with a primary focus on EDI mappings, partner connections, and interface configuration. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain EDI mappings between SAP IDocs and EDI formats (e.g. EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML)

  • Configure and support OpenText EDI connections (AS2, SFTP, VAN, etc.)

  • Own partner setup and onboarding in OpenText EDI platforms

  • Act as the technical lead for OpenText EDI topics within the SAP integration landscape

  • Monitor, analyze, and resolve EDI and IDoc processing issues

  • Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to support end-to-end business processes

  • Support changes related to new message types, partners, and business requirements

  • Ensure stability, performance, and data integrity of EDI interfaces

  • Create and maintain technical documentation and integration guidelines

  • Provide expert support and guidance to internal teams and stakeholders


Required Skills & Experience

  • Senior-level, hands-on experience with OpenText EDI solutions

  • Strong understanding of SAP IDoc-based integration

  • Solid expertise in EDI standards (EDIFACT, ANSI X12, XML)

  • Experience with B2B integration scenarios in enterprise environments

  • Deep knowledge of EDI mappings, partner-specific rules, and connectivity

  • Strong troubleshooting skills across SAP and EDI layers

  • Ability to work independently and take full technical ownership

  • Fluent English communication skills


Nice to Have

  • Experience with OpenText Trading Grid / Business Network

  • Knowledge of SAP PI/PO, SAP CPI, or SAP Integration Suite

  • Experience with S/4HANA migration or hybrid SAP landscapes

  • Understanding of SAP business processes (SD, MM, FI – high level)
