SAP EDI Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled SAP EDI Specialist with a strong background in SD (Sales and Distribution) module processes and EDI integrations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting EDI solutions in SAP, ensuring seamless communication between SAP systems and external partners (customers, vendors, third-party logistics providers).

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the complete SD document flow, from sales order creation to billing and invoice processing.

• Configure and maintain SAP SD output determination processes, including VOFM routines for output requirements.

• Create and modify pricing routines and VOFM requirements within the SD module to meet business needs.

• Implement and maintain enhancements in order processing, using user exits, BADIs, and enhancement points.

• Manage SD IDOC processing, including custom enhancements for inbound and outbound messages.

• Work with the IDoc framework (WE20, WE02, WE09) for partner profile setup, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Create comprehensive functional specifications and collaborate closely with ABAP developers.

• Provide UAT support for EDI scenarios, coordinate with business users to validate end-to-end processes.

• Represent solution proposals with clear argumentation and documentation during customer telco meetings or workshops.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP SD and EDI integration projects.

• Solid understanding of SAP SD document flow and its integration with MM and FI modules.

• Experience with IDoc message types such as ORDERS, INVOIC, DESADV, DELVRY, etc.

• Proficiency in output types, access sequences, condition tables, and VOFM routines.

• Strong debugging skills for IDOC and order processing issues.

• Experience with enhancements (user exits, BADIs) in SD processes.

• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

• Prior experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., presenting solutions, handling workshops)
