We are seeking an experienced SAP ePPDS Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (embedded PP/DS – ePPDS) in an SAP S/4HANA environment. This role involves working closely with business stakeholders to design, configure, implement, assess, and optimize advanced planning and scheduling solutions that improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and support of SAP ePPDS solutions in SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to gather requirements and deliver effective SAP-based planning and scheduling solutions.
• Conduct implementation assessments, review existing ePPDS implementations, identify improvement opportunities, resolve issues, and recommend process improvements.
• Configure ePPDS functionalities such as heuristic-based planning, optimizer-based planning, block planning, and capacity leveling.
• Optimize master data, including resource capacities, production versions, PDS (Production Data Structures), and PPMs (Production Process Models), where applicable.
• Integrate ePPDS with other SAP modules, including PP, MM, SD, and EWM, to ensure seamless production planning.
• Provide expertise in order-based and time-continuous scheduling, pegging strategies, and alert monitoring.
• Support relevant integration scenarios between SAP S/4HANA and ePPDS.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues to ensure smooth business operations.
• Conduct user training and prepare documentation covering system configurations, business processes, and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in SAP PP/DS implementation and support, including experience with embedded PP/DS in SAP S/4HANA.
• Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA ePPDS, including DS Board, PP/DS Optimizer, Planning Procedures, and Interactive Planning.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration and the relevant interfaces and data transfer mechanisms used in ePPDS implementations.
• Solid understanding of production planning processes, including Make-to-Order (MTO), Make-to-Stock (MTS), and Repetitive Manufacturing.
• Hands-on experience with heuristics, capacity leveling, and scheduling strategies.
• Experience in assessing existing ePPDS implementations, identifying improvement opportunities, resolving issues, and driving process improvements.
• Strong knowledge of SAP PP/MM and integration with EWM.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP PP/DS certification.
• Experience in industry-specific environments such as Automotive, Consumer Goods, Chemicals, or Manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SAP IBP (Integrated Business Planning) and SAP APO (Advanced Planning & Optimization).
