Position Summary:
The SAP GTS Consultant is responsible for ensuring stable business operations in a mature application support environment. The role focuses primarily on incident resolution and service request handling for SAP Global Trade Services (GTS), while ensuring high service quality and effective collaboration with business stakeholders and IT teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior-level support for SAP GTS applications
  • Manage and resolve incidents and service requests in line with SLAs
  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex SAP GTS issues and coordinate resolution across teams
  • Support problem and change management activities
  • Collaborate with business users and technical teams to ensure efficient issue resolution
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of support processes and operational stability
  • Maintain relevant documentation and ensure adherence to ITSM processes

Requirements

  • Minimum 7–10 years of SAP experience, including solid hands-on knowledge of SAP GTS
  • Strong background in application support with focus on incident and service request management
  • Good understanding of global trade, compliance, and customs processes within SAP GTS
  • Experience working in structured, high-maturity IT service environments
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent English; German is an advantage
